AAAGCF was founded by Dr. Adebimpe Aderounmu and Dr. Adetokunbo Aderounmu, a compassionate elderly couple with decades of experience in the medical field. Having witnessed firsthand the injustices and challenges faced by girls—ranging from limited access to education and healthcare to societal discrimination—during their careers, they felt compelled to take action. With a shared vision of creating lasting change, they established this foundation in 2016 to advocate for and support the girl child. Over the years, their dedication has led to remarkable progress, empowering countless girls through education, mentorship, healthcare initiatives, and community outreach.
